The mixing valve makes it possible to set the tap water temperature within the range of 30-60 °C.

The valve is used to mix hot water in the tank with cold water in the pipe in order to achieve the required water temperature in the tap.

The following arrows can be found on the valve:

  • red – direction of the hot water supplied to the tank before mixing
  • blue – direction of the cold water supplied by the pipe
  • both red and blue in parallel – direction of the water leaving the tank after mixing

Temperature is adjusted using a knob with 6 settings and the thermometer placed after the valve indicates the temperature of the mixed water. The temperature of the water before mixing can be read on the thermometer placed before the valve.
